I'm the director of Aberdeen House III. I started in this field with caregiver training in 2017, and today I'm still hands-on in the care here. Please contact us by email, and we'll get back to you. When your loved one moves in, I'm the one who knows their routine, their medications, and how they like their day to go.

I'm a Certified Medication Technician, and I completed Maryland's 80-hour Assisted Living Manager course.

But for me, a certificate is only where the learning starts. I keep studying how to care for each resident better, how to give them good nutrition, and how to guide families who need the Medicaid Waiver, so they never have to walk that long, hard road alone.

That's also why I write. Through our Maryland Assisted Living Info Hub and our sister site, ByWellCare, I share what I learn about caregiving, nutrition, health, and the government programs that can help older adults and their families.

For me, Aberdeen House III has never been just a business. I do this work because I love older people.

Everything I study and every skill I work to improve has one purpose: to come a little closer to them and to care for them better. As the director, that is a responsibility I carry every day, and it's the work I plan to keep doing for years to come.

The longer I do it, the more I learn, and the more I love the people who live here. Our residents aren't just people we care for. They are the heart of this house.

I was born in Korea and speak both English and Korean. Whether or not your loved one moves in with us, I'm always happy to talk things through with you.
